Another ‘1,000’ milestone

090322-b-schwinnI wrote in a May 1 post that I had passed a milestone in my training for a bicycle ride across the United States — 1,000 miles.
Today, another milestone was reached — 1,000 views of this blog since I posted my first item on April 20, “A ride along the edge of America.”
Thanks to all who have taken the time to look at this little blog as it sets off down the block like a boy on his first Schwinn. I’ll try to make it an interesting journey.

Congratulations Dad!!! When I hit counter just now I spotted that there were 1,082 hits. Nice. Talk to you later. Ben

    • Thanks, Ben. I have no idea whether that milestone is fairly standard for new blogs, and I’m still trying to figure out how to make it more visible on the Internet and interactive with other blogs. But I’m very pleased that more than 1,100 people so far have taken time to look at the blog.
      Love, Dad
